Novacaine shots do evil with numbing gel? help!?
I fill a couple of years ago and was so afraid of the blow that I didn't understand. bad because they had to, but water and air on-site drilling. i dnt want to go through again, but im really scared. I have two cavities. how badly hurt numbing gel on a scale of 1-10? someone scored a filling with Novacaine and without? was the worst blow of dental work without it?
Okay, I just had my first fill done today .. and I was so scared I did not get sleep last night! : (But it was cake! I have a very, very low tolerance for pain and I felt absolutely nothing. First they put the gel on and waited for a minute or two. Then they give you a shot .. I was so scared because I absolutely HATE needles so I closed my eyes and waited for it … then pulled out the needle. I was so surprised. I mean, on a scale of 1-10 … I would say a 1 only because I can not go lower lol. But seriously, I have not heard anything. They left me standing there for what seemed like forever for my mouth to numb and then began punching and I really feel too much pressure. I was really surprised and I felt really stupid for being so afraid. I can not imagine how bad it would be without the shot … (But perhaps only anesthetic super effective on me .. People say they felt pinches .. I felt absolutely nothing. But a little bit is better than being able to hear someone drilling your tooth …)

The dental compressor provides compressed air
The dental compressor provides compressed air
In one aspect, the drive can be operated as follows. The dental compressor provides compressed air for the chairs Dental. A battery can be incorporated into the store compressed air if necessary. Compressed air is connected fittings and plumbing to the water tank and delivery system connections to provide compressed air for air compressor dental air / water syringe and other items that require compressed air. Compressed air and water supply sub-system connected to the existing dental chair delivery so no change is needed in the existing design or manufacture of these objects.
The water tank can be a container autoclavable to be able to accept any water tap, sterilized, buffered, etc. An optional piece allows the dentist to use standard bags of sterile water.
The oilless air compressor output is sufficient to operate an air driven handpiece in addition to accessories listed above. For example, the output can be used to provide an air / water syringe, etc.
A pressure regulator is incorporated into control pressure supply to the dental chair. A pressure sensor monitors the air pressure in the dental chair. A switch turns the compressor ON and OFF to maintain the supply pressure.
The waste container is connected to the vacuum pump and connections for the HVE and saliva ejector devices. The controller activates the pump vacuum on request. The controller can activate the vacuum pump using one of several possible methods, including but not limited to, sensing the line pressure in the vacuum lines, answering an electrical switch connected to the HVE and saliva control valves to expel or to respond to operation of a foot switch.
In summary, the compressors Dental provide exemplary independent chair constructed with a dental chair and integrated compressor, vacuum pump, regulator, battery (if necessary) and related fittings, pipes and electrical cables, water and waste containers, and sensors and controls.
