BACKGROUND OF Dental air compressor

The present invention can be characterized in one aspect thereof by a generally vertical cabinet with a ring vacuum pump mounted in the base of the water itself and a compressor mounted on a platform suspended adjacent the top of the cabinet. The platform is not suspended is rigid and is therefore able to absorb the vibrations from the compressor. The compressor drive motor is mounted to the underside of the platform on the means handling the engine compared to the platform to adjust the tension of the compressor drive belts.
